DESCRIPTION:Join us on Orcas Island to celebrate two decades of protecting one of the most beloved landscapes in the San Juan Islands.\n\n\n\nSaturday\, July 25 | 1 to 3:30 |  Coffelt Farm | Orcas Island \n\n\n\nFree (Registration required) \n\n\n\nTwenty years ago\, a mountain nearly became 78 vacation homes. Instead\, more than 2\,000 people came together in the largest conservation campaign in San Juan County history — and Turtleback Mountain became public land\, forever. \n\n\n\nThis July\, we’re celebrating that decision and the people who made it possible. Come to Coffelt Farm on Orcas Island for an afternoon of live music\, light refreshments\, and meet the staff and board members who conserve\, care for\, and connect people to this land every day. \n\n\n\nAt the event: \n\n\n\n\nLive music by Gene Nery and the Olga Symphony\n\n\n\nLight snacks and refreshments by The Goat & Co. \n\n\n\nMeet SJPT staff and board members\n\n\n\nLearn about conservation across the San Juan Islands\n\n\n\n\n Free Shuttles Available Shuttle details from the ferry landing will be shared with registered attendees closer to the event date.  \n\n\n\n Please Note: Advance registration is required.
